Maakplaats logo design & signpainting > Commissioned

For ‘de Maakplaats’, I was given the cool assignment of designing a logo and painting it by hand.
The typography for this logo finds its inspiration in earlier times, when people still did a lot of handwork. The letters were set up by hand, as were the shadows.
I did the painting of the letters by hand, on an aluminum panel. This aluminum refers directly to the materials often used in de Maakplaats!
